Licensed staff members charge $60 to $150 a session, Interns charge $40 to $60 a session and Practicum Students charge $30 a session.  Licensed staff all accept some EAP’s or insurance and vary by individual.  Sliding scale fees are determined by gross annual family income with decreases taken at below $50,000 and $100,000 depending on individual staff fees.

Kim Priess, LPC Intern

Treatment focus includes children, adolescents, couples, and individuals.  Areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, low self esteem, marriage, separation and divorce, blended families, parent/teen conflict, illness, and spiritual issues.  Session fees begin at $50 and can be lowered based on sliding scale.

Kali Scheschuk, LPC, Certified School Counselor

Treatment focus includes adolescents, couples, individuals & families.  As a group leader for Child and Family Guidance Center, Kali has extensive experience with adolescents & substance abuse as well as family conflict and is contracted with BlueCross BlueShield of Texas, Aetna, MultiPlan/PHCS and Deer Oaks EAP.

Jarrod Jarrett, LPC Intern

Treatment focus includes adults, adolescents, children and couples. Jarrod has extensive training in treating addictions, depression, and anxiety   Jarrod does not accept insurance, but his session fee is $40.00 with sliding scale fee available.

Shawn Reed, LPC

Shawn works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her special interests include children in family therapy, play therapy, families facing illness and bereavement, adoption, teen pregnancy, divorce and blended family issues.  Shawn has extensive experience working with children and adolescents in foster care as well as family conflict. Shawn is in network BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna, and Deer Oaks EAP.  She also accepts traditional Medicaid.  972-369-9462.  Shawn has new client appointments available Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings.

Amy Doar, LPC Intern

Treatment focus includes children, adolescents, and individuals.  Areas of specialization include depression, anxienty, career and grief counseling, divorce and separation issues, military families, women’s issues and families facing cancer.  Session fees begin at $60 and can be lowered based on sliding scale.

Selah Richards, LPC

I work with adults, adolescents, and couples who want to learn new skills and coping strategies, find meaning in crisis and transitions, repair damage from trauma, and reach their life goals. I can help
individuals address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, grief and loss, chronic pain/illness, and stress-management/relaxation-response training. I work with couples on goals such as increased communication, intimacy and better conflict resolution.  Selah is in network with Aetna, Medicaid, DARS, Mines and Assoc. and Deer Oaks EAP.  I currently accept self-pay clients on a sliding scale, with sessions averaging $75.  I am in the process of contracting with BCBS.

Tiffany Amerson, LPC

Treatment focus includes young children and adolescents, adults and couples. Tiffany is passionate about play therapy, is currently employed by Nexus Recovery Center where she works with Substance Abuse issues, and has lead Anger Management groups.   Tiffany in the process of contracting with several insurance companies.  Her session fee is $75.00 with sliding scale fee available.

Jimmy Smith, Practicum Student

Treatment focus includes adolescents, couples, individuals and families. As a Youth Minister for 18 years in the local church, Jimmy has extensive experience working with teenagers and their families.,

Jacelyn Revland, LPC

Treatment focus includes adolescents and individuals.  As a member of a ADAPT’s mobile crisis team, Jacie specializes in working with singles, women, and long term care for individuals diagnosed with Major Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders and Bipolar Disorder and is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Deer Oaks EAP.  Session fees are $50 to 75 based on sliding scale.
